Decentralized Truck Staging Area - Traffic Facilities Planning

The subject of the commission is the provision of traffic facilities planning services for the planning area. On behalf of the Authority for Economy, Labour and Innovation (BWAI), a feasibility study was conducted for the realization of 15 truck staging areas in the Billbrook / Rothenburgsort industrial estate in the Hamburg-Mitte district. The aim of the measure is to support the revitalization and modernization of the industrial estate and to improve the traffic infrastructure for heavy goods vehicles. The identified 15 truck staging areas are to be reviewed for their feasibility and further planned and implemented on the basis of the currently valid regulations and guidelines (ReStra). The present feasibility study serves as the basis for preliminary planning. The existing documents are to be reviewed, examined, and included in further planning by the contractor. The contractor's service obligation includes the basic services of traffic facilities planning according to Part 3, Section 4 (§§ 45 ff.) of the HOAI in planning phases 1 to 8 according to § 47 HOAI in conjunction with Annex 13, Number 13.1 HOAI, as well as the relevant requirements of the LB-Straßen. In addition, the special and additional services required for planning and implementation are to be provided. The contract includes the following service areas: - Traffic facilities: internal access roads, construction site access, pedestrian and cycle paths, roadside greenery, public lighting - Surface drainage - Pipeline route planning and coordination (optional service)
