Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP) Directed Faith Community Reintegration Project – Muslim Initiative This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas and the Edmonton area. Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement. Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Compliant bid with the highest combined score of technical merit and price. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide Directed Faith Community Reintegration services in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas and the Edmonton area. Faith Community Reintegration Projects (FCRPs) support successful offender reintegration following their release from CSC institutions. Directed Faith Community Reintegration Projects (DFCRPs) are a specialized extension of FCRPs that align with CSC’s public safety mandate by supporting the reintegration of offenders from traditionally underserved faith communities. DFCRPs link offender reintegration goals to the mandates of organizations from traditionally underserved faith communities that are prepared to offer religious and spiritual services to offenders after release. DFCRPs support offender reintegration plans and program goals, by providing a range of services and activities that facilitate the transition and reintegration of individuals back into the community.
