Description
CSC - IT Center for Science Ltd (CSC) operates the national data management and computing infrastructure for open academic research in Finland. CSC is carrying out a procurement with the goal to renew CSC's high performance computing and storage infrastructure 2025 onwards. The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) is participating in the procurement with an option to renew their resources for research needs. FMI is represented by CSC by power of attorney. The total value of the procurement with options during the contract period is 25 – 60 M€, excluding VAT. CSC intends to upgrade and expand the initial installations over multiple years, meeting future customer demand with the right capability. The value of the FMI optional extension and the storage system is from 0 to 2 M€ (excluding VAT).
