Before laying the asphalt layers, preparation of the base is necessary by filling with stone fraction up to the level of the design elevation. All technological joints in the asphalt pavement should be filled with hot bitumen paste. After the asphalt works are completed, the horizontal road markings should be restored. Indicative scope of activities in the affected section 23.00m; Repair of longitudinal cracks on the asphalt surface – they should be sealed with hot bitumen material for filling cracks on the surface of the pavement, up to 5 mm wide, or with hot bitumen paste over 5 mm wide, in order to prevent surface water from penetrating the road base. Indicative scope of activities in the affected section 77.00m; Repair of a manhole – due to settlement, the existing cast-iron cover of the existing inspection manhole (IM) should be dismantled and replaced with a new, self-leveling type.
