Supply and installation of interior equipment for the Starše library

The entrance to the library premises is planned from the northwest side of the building, through the entrance vestibule, to the central library space. In the vestibule, on the left side, a notice board with a display case will be installed as part of the wall, and on the left side, a small movable interior equipment element is planned to serve for material presentation, and will also be used as a 'lectern' in case of organized events (lectures, seminars, reading evenings,...). Visitors will enter the central library space from the vestibule. The circulation desk will be placed centrally in the space, with shelves for material arranged to its left and right. To the left of the central desk, material for preschoolers, pioneers, and youth is planned. The rows of shelves are interrupted by a space intended for sitting or creative activities for preschoolers, and the area concludes with a 'living room' and a space for group work, which will be intended for pioneers and youth. The area for placing material for preschoolers is planned as a multifunctional space with movable equipment, which can be used for various purposes with variable equipment arrangements in case of events. To the right of the desk, material for adult readers is planned, segmented into two areas. In the background of the central desk, fiction is planned, and to the right of the desk, non-fiction is planned. Within the central space, 'sub-spaces' will be formed next to the concrete columns, intended for reading or computer workstations. To the right of the entrance to the space, a space for a book machine (planned in a later phase as a separate project) and a space for periodicals with accompanying reading places are reserved. The presentation of thematic material selection is planned near the light openings, to the right of the periodicals and in the background of the central desk near the reading places. A partition wall, which will extend along the entire depth of the space, will separate the central space from the secondary spaces, which include: a kitchenette, cloakroom and sanitary facilities for employees, sanitary facilities for male visitors, combined sanitary facilities for female visitors and persons with disabilities, a space for cleaning supplies, and a combined storage-technical space, which will house installations and storage for library use. In a wall niche, which will be formed in part of the partition wall, a cloakroom for library users is planned. The new library will be designed to ensure unobstructed access, entry, and use for its users. Movement within the building will be enabled without structural and communication barriers. The spaces between the bookshelves will be dimensioned to allow users unobstructed access and movement. Materials and equipment will be selected to ensure safe and functional use and easy maintenance.
