Continuation of subscription for the Eclipse online catalog

The purpose of this procurement is to continue the subscription for the Eclipse catalog - an implemented and used web-based library information system. Eclipse provides public online access to the bibliographic records of the library collection, visualization of holdings, user profile management, and exchange of bibliographic and collection data with external information systems, including EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS). The available functionalities, supported standards, and integration capabilities of the system are as follows: 1. Main components: module for public online catalog (OPAC); module for bibliographic records; module for copies and holdings; module for thematic collections; "Latest Additions" module; module for generating and exporting bibliographic citations; module for quick and advanced search; module for metadata exchange and export; module for integration with external systems; administrative module for reports. 2. Main functionalities: Eclipse provides the basic functions of an electronic library catalog and offers public web access to the library's bibliographic data: quick catalog search; advanced search by various bibliographic criteria; sorting and filtering of results; visualization of full bibliographic records; visualization of copy information; visualization of location, call number, inventory number, and status; working with different types of library documents; display of the latest added records; organization of content into collections; generation of bibliographic citations; access via a standard internet browser. The catalog stores, processes, and visualizes structured bibliographic data for the library collection. Eclipse supports the description, search, and visualization of various types of library and information resources. The system supports searching by main bibliographic and collection indicators, including advanced search. It supports user profiles for accessing personalized library services. Login profiles are linked to the institutional Microsoft 365 environment. Eclipse provides export and exchange of bibliographic records and collection information through standardized formats and protocols. The system processes catalog data and provides it in a format suitable for external systems. The public interface of Eclipse provides web access to the electronic catalog and is intended for students, faculty, doctoral students, staff, and external users. It ensures secure access to administrative functions and distinguishes user rights. The public part of the catalog provides access only to information intended for user visualization. Maintenance includes system operation, technical support, and assistance with integrations and data exchange. Contract term - The contract enters into force on 26.11.2026 and is for a period of one year. Within 24 (twenty-four) hours of the contract entering into force, the Contractor must provide the Client with the library software supporting the online catalog for the needs of the University Library - UNWE. Term for subscription service - online, daily. The Client pays the amount under the contract once, within 30 (thirty) days from the contract entering into force, signing of the acceptance-transfer protocol for the activity of providing the Client with the library software supporting the online catalog for the needs of the University Library - UNWE, and submission of the original invoice.
