Description

The World Bank MENAAP Chief Economist Office, in collaboration with the MENAAP Gender Innovation Lab, intends to recruit a survey firm. The overall objective of the assignment is to conduct qualitative fieldwork and the endline survey for a randomized evaluation (RCT) that measures the impact of an intervention that provides economic and social support to female headed households in Upper Egypt. The data collection firm will be responsible for conducting qualitative, in-depth interviews with a small sample of RCT participants. The interviews will include both a semi-structured component and cognitive interviewing based on potential new questions for the endline survey.  Survey collection will be conducted in person in the governorates of Qena, Luxor and Minya. The survey firm will be provided with a list of all RCT participants who completed the baseline and their contact information in order to facilitate the survey. The World Bank now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest. The Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment is attached to this request for expressions of interest.
