Operation and maintenance of lighting devices in the City of Zgierz

This tender concerns the operation and maintenance of lighting installations for streets, squares, and other public spaces within the City of Zgierz. The contract period is set from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027. As of September 18, 2025, there are 5,479 lighting points. The plan includes the installation of 100 new lighting points in 2026, bringing the total to 5,579, and another 100 new points in 2027, for a total of 5,679. The lighting system encompasses electrical equipment installed after the metering system, including luminaires and their components, light sources, overhead and underground lighting lines, lighting poles, brackets with mounting elements, and distribution boards and cabinets for lighting. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary operational activities, including inspections and surveys of lighting points, replacement and disposal of light sources, replacement of luminaire components, replacement of fuse bases and inserts, maintenance of lighting distribution boards, and twice-yearly clock adjustments. The scope also includes inspections and surveys of overhead and underground power lines supplying the lighting, repairs to the power supply system, and on-call duty for the energy dispatch and emergency service. A key requirement for the contractor and subcontractors is the employment of individuals under an employment contract to perform electrical work related to the execution of this order.
