Auto-translated from hrThe subject of the procedure is the procurement of electricity supply, based on the expressed needs and in accordance with the technical characteristics and other required conditions indicated in this Procurement Documentation. The supplied electricity must contain a minimum of 50% electricity from renewable sources. To stimulate the production of energy from renewable sources, to make it more competitive than energy obtained from conventional sources, and to encourage the construction of new renewable energy sources and achieve sustainable development, the Contracting Authority has determined that the electricity must contain the aforementioned minimum percentage of electricity from renewable sources. Namely, based on the National Action Plan for Green Public Procurement for the period 2015-2017 with a view to 2020, adopted at the session of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on August 26, 2015, as the basic criterion for green public procurement for electricity, the procurement of at least 50% electricity from renewable sources and/or the procurement of electricity from high-efficiency cogeneration is foreseen (with the bidder needing to state the share of electricity from renewable sources with which they intend to supply the contracting authority). Renewable energy sources are renewable non-fossil energy sources, i.e., wind energy, solar energy, aerothermal, geothermal, and hydrothermal energy, sea energy, watercourse energy, biomass energy, landfill gas, wastewater treatment plant gas, and biogas (Article 3 of the Electricity Market Act (NN 111/21).
