12-Jun-2026 The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has requested support from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to prepare the Ethiopia Poultry Value Chain Development Project (E-PVDP), a proposed investment under the ADF-17 pipeline with indicative financing of USD 69 million. The project aims to improve food and nutrition security and livelihoods by increasing poultry productivity and production, boosting consumption of eggs and poultry meat, creating jobs—particularly for women and youth—and raising incomes.
