Original language: DutchMonitoring rijksmonumenten conform landelijke afspraken Sinds 2016 werken alle provincies en de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed (RCE) aan de monitoring van rijksmonumenten. Deze samenwerking is gericht op het tot stand brengen van een gezamenlijke databron voor gegevens over de fysieke staat van rijksmonumenten en aan het (digitaal) toegankelijk maken en (digitaal) ontsluiten van (deze) informatie. In lijn met bestuurlijke afspraken die in 2016 zijn gemaakt, is elke provincie verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van de periodieke monitoring binnen het eigen grondgebied. Dat wil zeggen dat de Provincie Limburg verplicht is elke vier jaar alle gebouwde rijksmonumenten (zijnde niet-woonhuizen) in Limburg te laten beoordelen op hun staat van onderhoud, leegstand en herbestemming. Dit moet gebeuren op objectniveau, en conform een vastgestelde uitvoeringsrichtlijn (URL 2006) en een vaste set indicatoren. De data die voorkomt uit de periodieke monitoring moet de Provincie Limburg in overeenstemming met een gesloten samenwerkingsovereenkomst delen met de RCE. De monitoringsdata van alle provincies wordt vervolgens op geaggregeerd niveau ontsloten op de landelijke Erfgoedmonitor (openbaar toegankelijk dashboard in beheer bij de RCE). De Limburgse monumentdata wordt verder gepresenteerd in een alleen voor de Provincie raadpleegbare online omgeving (provinciaal dasboard). Hiervan wordt gebruik gemaakt voor interne doeleinden en hoofdzakelijk in het kader van (het inzichtelijk maken van) restauratieopgaven. Limburgse monumentdata In 2017/2018 is er een bijna dekkende nulmeting uitgevoerd in Limburg. Het overgrote deel van de monumentdata is in 2022 voor het laatste geactualiseerd. Vandaar dat er per 2026 door de Provincie Limburg opnieuw een monitoringsopdracht gegund moet worden. De scope van de opdracht ten opzichte van de vorige opdrachten wordt verbreed van het monitoren van enkel rijksmonumenten naar het monitoren van rijks- én gemeentelijke monumenten (zijnde niet-woonhuizen). Het ondersteunend beleid van de Provincie Limburg voor subsidieverlening op het gebied van urgente restauratieopgaven richt zich namelijk al ruime tijd op zowel rijks- als gemeentelijke monumenten. Uitbreiding van de monitoringsscope is van belang om alle urgente restauratieopgaven in Limburg goed en op gelijke wijze in kaart te brengen. Op deze manier kan er beter uitvoering gegeven
