Bei dem Gebäude handelt es sich um eine eingeschossige 1- Feldsporthalle mit angeschlossenem eingeschossigen Umkleide- und Sanitärtrakt. Die Sanierung der vorhandene Sporthalle wird in drei Maßnahmen unterteilt. Eine energetische Sanierung indem das Dach, die Fassade und die Heizung saniert wird. Die Erneuerung des Turnhallenbodens und der Prallwände sowie die Erneuerung der elektrischen Anlagen . Die vorhandene Elektroinstallation wird überwiegend demontiert und entsorgt. Einzig die Lichtschienen in der Sporthalle sollen demontiert und vor Ort gelagert werden. Später werden die Schienen wieder montiert. Im neu geschaffenen Technikraum soll eine neue NSHVT errichtet werden die das Schulgebäude einspeist. Es soll für eine spätere Fotovoltaikanlage Reserven vorgehalten werden. Die Pausengong- und Rufanlage wird entsprechen den aktuellen Vorschriften erneuert . Jeder Raum erhält einen Lautsprecher und an den Ausgängen werden Druckknopfmelder zur Alarmierung installiert . Eine Sicherheitsbeleuchtungsanlage soll entprechend den gängigen Normen und Vorschriften installiert werden. Für die Belüftung der Sporthalle und zur Entrauchung ist eine RWA Anlage vorgesehen.
