Das Bestandsgebäude in L-Form wurde inden 1950er-Jahren errichtet, mit Erweiterungen aus den Jahren 1997 (Sporthalle,Gebäudetrakt im NW) und 2005 (Erweiterung um ein Klassenzimmer)Nun sieht sich dieGrundschule vor großen Herausforderungen: Die stetig wachsenden Schülerzahlen engen dieSchulgemeinschaft ein. Trotz einer großzügigen Pausenhalle bzw. Mensa gibt es kaum biskeine Differenzierungs- oder Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, sei es für den Ganztag oder für denUnterricht.Die Sanierung und Erweiterung der Grundschule bietet nun die einzigartige Chance,in Gebsattel Bedingungen zu schaffen, mit denen sich moderne Ansprüche an Bildung undSchülerbetreuung zukunftsorientiert, nachhaltig und überregional bedeutsam verwirklichenlassen.Dazu wurde bereits eine Machbarkeitsstudie erstellt und die Objektplanung der LPH 1und 2 durchgeführt. Diese Planung liegt der Bekanntmachung bei.Der Auftraggeberbeabsichtigt nun die LPH 3 bis 9 in einer stufenweisen Beauftragung zu vergeben.
