Extension SAP-MaxAttention

LHM has been using SAP systems in its finance department for many years and has therefore adopted a one-vendor strategy. The replacement of SAP systems in any form and possibly the introduction of a completely new system from a third-party provider are therefore out of the question. As part of the neoFin SAP Solutions program (formerly digital/4finance), LHM's sovereign area is currently converting its existing SAP ECC6.0, SAP BW 7.5, SRM 7.0, and SRM-MDM Catalog to an SAP S/4HANA system. Processes, organizational elements, and components to be used are being reconfigured. In some cases, the scope of functions is also being expanded. The neoFin SAP Solutions program aims to significantly improve manufacturer support to ensure the stability and operational reliability of the new S/4HANA system and the business processes mapped within it, both in the design, implementation, and later operation. LHM aims to extend an existing MaxAttention contract with SAP to achieve its goals. The SAP MaxAttention program is an extension of SAP's support program that covers all business and IT requirements for all SAP solutions. The contract includes, among other things, the following services relevant to LHM: a) Provision of a Lead Technical Quality Manager (LTQM) The LTQM gains an overview of the software solution, business processes, and strategic direction of the client's program; he is the central coordinator of the overall engagement. The main tasks consist of strategic consulting as well as the development and maintenance of so-called engagement plans and other specific support services. b) Provision of a Technical Quality Manager (TQM) The TQM provides advice and support in the focus areas of support requirements, support processes, use of SAP Support Tools, integrated, end-to-end Application Lifecycle Management, integration validation of the client's complex solutions, and increasing the efficiency of the SAP solution. c) Provision of an Enterprise Architect ("EA") The EA's task is, among other things, to support the client in developing the target architecture design, where public/private cloud and on-premise scenarios can be combined, including adjustments to the architecture strategy and roadmaps. d) Services The agreed services include a variety of different services, including in the areas of security requirements, integration requirements, and software adjustments including their implementation. For example, experts are also made available who can ensure standard-compliant implementation, compliance with product standards, and secure and stable support. Likewise, service personnel can be directly contacted for manufacturer support, thus supporting ongoing operations, especially in the initial phase of productive use or for particularly business-critical processes. In addition, extended service level agreements apply. All these services require specific and specialized technical SAP know-how as well as a deep insight into SAP's strategic development roadmap, which is only available from SAP itself in this form, breadth, and technical and strategic depth, and not from SAP's partner/reseller companies (which therefore do not offer these MaxAttention services). The extension of the MaxAttention service is required due to the complexity of municipality-specific cost accounting and (budgetary) planning. The legal requirements to be considered and the individual processes required by a large municipality like Munich require significantly more intensive consideration.
