Description
The present activity pursues two main objectives.First, it shall ensure the continued high-quality provision of pre-operational space weather services under the existing SWE Service Network. This includes maintaining the availability of the products and servicescurrently included in the Network portfolio through the SWE Service Portal, ensuring the integration of newly developed or updated products, providing first- and second-line end-user support, delivering tailored bulletins to high-priority users, and performing continuous and evolutionary maintenance of key service components.In addition, the service catalogue shall be updated and adapted to reflect emerging and future needs of a European operational space weather service.Second, the activity shall define, design, and implement a modern Research-to-Operations-to-Research (R2O2R) framework for space weather products and services. This shall include the analysis of existing processes, the specification of the target framework, and its practical implementation within the SWE ServiceNetwork.The outcome of the activity shall enable the transition towards a new generation of the SWE Service Network and an updatedversion of the ESA SWE Service Portal.The procurement shall require the application of high standards in software engineering, theactive involvement of end-users within the R2O2R lifecycle, and the delivery of a professional, high-quality user experience for the web portal, including modern software practices, advanced graphical design, and robust human-machine interfaces.
