Das ESG-Datenmanagementsystem dient als zentral gesteuerte, spezialisierte Software-as-a-Service-Plattform (SaaS-Plattform) zur integrativen Beschaffung, Verarbeitung, Qualitätssicherung und Bereitstellung externer ESG-Daten für den KfW-Konzern. Die eXterne ESG-DAtenLIeferstrecke (im Folgenden auch „XEDALI“) ersetzt die bisherige, dezentrale und heterogene Beschaffung und Anbindung externer ESG-Datenquellen durch einen standardisierten ETL-Prozess (Extract – Transform – Load). Die Anwendung wird regelmäßig ESG-Daten an den technischen Schnittstellen zu diversen externen Datenanbietern abfragen, in ein einheitliches Datenmodell überführen und zur Verwendung für Folgeprozesse bereitstellen. Sie stellt damit Abnehmern eine konsistente Datenquelle für externe ESG-Daten bereit. XEDALI leistet somit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur technischen Unterstützung und Erfüllung neuer aufsichtsrechtlicher Anforderungen (insbesondere der EBA-Leitlinie zu ESG-Risiken (EBA/GL/2025/01), MaRisk sowie des VSME-Standards und den Anforderungen aus BCBS239).
