This tender concerns the renovation of the University Conference Building (UKV) rooms at ETH Zurich, specifically focusing on the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Sanitary (HVAC-S) systems. The project involves the installation of seven new climate cabinets, including the ventilation of interior rooms. To ensure the climate cabinets can achieve their required cooling capacity, two new riser zones will be constructed. As these interior rooms will lack natural ventilation through windows, mechanical ventilation will be implemented. A new ventilation system will be installed on the south side to provide the forecourt and the UKV room with the minimum required air exchange. Additionally, supplementary rooms on the south side are designed for hygienic air exchange. The ventilation systems for the various floors will be connected to two existing systems: KLI35 Postbüro and KLI49 Polysnack. The cooling process within the climate cabinets generates condensate, which must be drained. Therefore, a new wastewater pipe will be installed for each riser zone to manage this discharge. The scope of work includes the comprehensive installation and integration of these new HVAC-S components to ensure optimal environmental conditions within the renovated spaces.
