1. The Government of the Republic of Burundi has received financing from the World Bank in the amount of US$60 million for the Burundi Integrated Community Development Project "PRODECI-TURIKUMWE" and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the contract: "Technical studies including separate ESIA and Supervision and Control of Works for the Potable Water Supply Systems of Lot 1 (1. Technical studies for the Muremera-Buganuka water supply system works: 23 km (TNG-04). 2. 2. The consulting services ("the Services") include:
a. For TECHNICAL STUDIES INCLUDING SEPARATE ESIA/PGES STUDIES
environmental and social assessment and adequate environmental and social due diligence, namely the ESIA with its ESMP or ESMP and possibly the production of specific Environmental and Social Plans depending on the level of environmental and social risks, materials research (involving the National Laboratory of Building and Public Works "LNBTP" for tests), Detailed Preliminary Design, Proposals for the maintenance of Potable Water Supply Systems and Preparation of the Bidding Documents (BD) for the execution of the works.
b. FOR THE SUPERVISION AND CONTROL OF THE CONSTRUCTION WORKS OF THE POTABLE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS OF LOT 1 AND LOT 2

3. The PRODECI-TURIKUMWE Project Management Unit now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to express their interest in providing the Services.
