EU Tender for Team Danmark House in Brøndby

AP Ejendomme P/S is initiating an EU tender for a turnkey contract concerning the establishment of a new multifunctional facility, designated as Team Danmark House. This new facility will be situated diagonally opposite the House of Sports in the Sports City of Brøndby. The building is projected to span approximately 4000m² across five levels, including a basement. The primary objective of Team Danmark House is to consolidate all facilities previously dispersed throughout the Sports City, thereby creating a central hub for the daily operations and administration of Team Danmark. The facility will serve as Team Danmark's new office space, but will also incorporate smaller activity rooms, testing and treatment facilities for athletes and staff, as well as specialized areas for athlete recovery and relaxation. Team Danmark's mission is to foster optimal conditions for Danish elite sports and individual athletes, aiming to develop their performance. Consequently, the project must be designed to facilitate and support these goals. AP Ejendomme P/S will act as the developer, owning the land and buildings, and will tailor the construction to the future tenant, Team Danmark. Although AP Ejendomme P/S is a private entity, the bespoke nature of the lease for Team Danmark, which is subject to public procurement regulations, necessitates that the developer adheres to these rules for the tender process. Following an architectural competition won by Henning Larsen, the selected tenderer will be required to contract Henning Larsen as their architectural advisor. This tender is being conducted as a negotiated procedure in accordance with the Danish Public Procurement Act, which implements EU Directive 2014/24/EU. The turnkey contract is contingent upon the approval of the local development plan. The estimated target sum for the turnkey contract is DKK 81,000,000, excluding VAT.
