Description

The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) invite suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for the P264001 - Eurong Office Construction Works project. K'gari is a UNESCO World Heritage Area located off the coast of Queensland. Recognised as the largest sand island in the world, K'gari boasts a rich tapestry of natural and cultural values, making it a vital site for conservation and tourism. The QPWS Eurong operational base was constructed in 1989 and is no longer fit for purpose, with a refurbishment required to address current demand and operational requirements. This procurement seeks a suitably qualified and experienced Principal Contractor to deliver construction works for the Eurong office refurbishment to address building asset condition requirements, optimise workstation areas and quiet rooms and enhance the incident room, kitchen and amenities. This is a Prequalification (PQC) System project. Tenderers must be on the relevant PQC list by the Tender Closing Date and Time. The PQC criteria are: o Procurement system contract category: Construct Only (previously Traditional Lump Sum) o Service category: Refurbishment / Renovation / Repairs o Project type: Administrative / Offices – Low rise – up to and including three storeys o Areas of operation: Wide Bay Burnett o Service activities: Non-Residential Interior Refurbishment and FitoutLow – basic office fitout, minimal services installation or alteration **Important Dates** Last date for Supplier Clarifications: 2:00pm Queensland Time on 25 August 2026 Tender Closing Date: 2:00pm Queensland Time on 1 September 2026 Minimum eligibility requirements are as follows: QBCC Licensing, registration and accreditation Copy of Certificate of Currency of required insurance policies Attendance at the mandatory site meeting Registration on the relevant Prequalification System (PQC) eligible list by the tender closing date and time.
