Description
TMR’s Central Queensland Region are seeking TMR Prequalified Construction Contractors for the purpose of submitting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for inclusion in the Central West District program of works comprising multiple standalone projects. As part of the two-stage procurement process, Early Tenderer Engagement may be undertaken by the Principal for selected projects to support detailed design development during the Implementation Phase. Applicants may submit an EOI for one or more of the individual projects within the program, depending on their capability and interest. The Department of Transport and Main Roads invites suitably prequalified contractors registered under these prequalification levels of: Road Contract – R1, Bridge Contract – B1 or B2, and Financial Level – F5, (desirable) to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) application for inclusion in a future program of construction works within Central West District, comprising multiple standalone projects of varying scope, location and delivery requirements, as further described in Section 2.0 of this EOI. This is the first stage of a two-stage procurement process. From the responses received from this EOI, up to three (3) Applicants may be shortlisted for each project using the non-financial Evaluation Criteria outlined in Section 4.3 of the EOI. Only the shortlisted respondents will progress to Stage 2 – Invitation to Tender (ITT) based on their cooperative input during the Stage 1 Early Tenderer Engagement Phase where applicable. The Early Tenderer Engagement Phase is described in Section 3.0. The Stage 2 Contracts are expected to be delivered under Minor Infrastructure Contract – Construct Only (MIC-CO). TMR reserves the right not to proceed with Stage 2 of this procurement process for any or all projects listed in Section 2.0. The following projects are included in the program of works for this procurement process. Each project may be delivered in smaller Contracts, and independently of each other. Applicants are not required to nominate for all projects below in order to be shortlisted. Hughenden-Winton Road Pavement Rehabilitation and Widening. Timber Bridge Replacements at the Belyando River, Clermont-Alpha Road; Windeyer Creek, Dawson Developmental Road (Springsure-Tambo); and Alpha Creek, Alpha-Tambo Road. Capricorn Highway Pavement Widening. 3-2-1 gravel stopping bay sites throughout Central West district. Maintenance of concrete structures throughout Central West district. Including bridges, major culverts and minor culverts. Completion of Level 1 bridge inspections may also be required.
