The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport invites sealed bids from reputable contractor (s) for the
following projects:
Exterior Renovation and General Electrical Work at the National Trust of Guyana
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures, specified in the Procurement Act, 2003 and Regulations, 2004, and is open to all eligible contractors.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Lot 71-72 Main and Quamina Streets, telephone number 226-3668. Ā An inspection of the Bidding Document can be conducted at the above address between the hours of 8:30 am to 3:00pm on week days.
All bids must be accompanied by Valid Business Registration, NIS and GRA Compliance Certificates.
The Tender document may be purchased from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Lot 71-72 Main and Quamina Streets, Georgetown for a non-refundable fee of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) each. The method of payment accepted will be cash.
The tender must be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope bearing no identity of the Tenderer and must be clearly marked on the top, left hand corner āTender for (Name of Project). Ā Each bidder shall submit an original and two (2) exact copy of the original bid on a flash drive which shall be in writing and in a single, sealed envelope. Corrections in bids, if any, shall be made by crossing out, initialing, dating, and rewriting.
The prices inserted shall be in indelible ink. The use of correction fluid (white -out) is strictly prohibited.
All tenders must be placed in Tender Box at the address below on or before 9:00 hours on Tuesday June 30, 2026. All bids will be opened in the presence of the Contractors (s) or their representative(s) who choose to attend.
