Electrical planning services - construction of a canteen at Kandern primary school

The city of Kandern intends to build an extension for a canteen to ensure and further develop all-day places in the sense of flexible afternoon care. The basis for the planning is the determined need for childcare places and the objective of continuous two-stream operation. The school site consists of a listed main building (built in 1910) and an extension built in 2002. The existing building primarily involves functional adjustments, while the extension will be supplemented and reorganized. The core of the measure is the new construction of a canteen in timber frame construction with an associated kitchen. The canteen will be barrier-free connected to the existing building complex and is designed for two-shift operation. Additionally, a spacious, projecting roof structure is planned, which functionally extends the adjacent schoolyard and serves as a weather-protected recreational area. In the course of the renovation measures, fire protection adjustments, optimization of escape routes, and measures to improve lighting and the quality of stay will also be carried out. The preliminary planning (service phases 1-2) for the other trades (architect and MEP planner) has already been completed.
