Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form ENG Description:YKAN is inviting a qualified Consulting Firm/Entities to submit proposals for the following scope of work:Project BackgroundSabu Raijua Regency is a small-island region facing increasingly evident impacts of climate change, particularly prolonged drought, limited water resources, threats to food security, and the growing vulnerability of community livelihoods. Addressing these challenges requires strengthening the capacity of communities and government institutions to build climate resilience through community-based adaptation approaches that are responsive to local conditions and needs.Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN), together with local partners, has supported efforts to strengthen community resilience through Participatory Climate Vulnerability Assessments (CVA), behavioral change research, intergenerational dialogue through Temu Komunitas, and the Sabu Climate Adaptation Festival, which highlighted local knowledge and culture as integral components of climate adaptation solutions. These initiatives have led to the development of community-based adaptation actions, including Rumah Daun and Apotek Hidup. However, further institutional and capacity strengthening is needed to ensure that these initiatives can be managed sustainably, expanded to benefit a wider community, and developed into key drivers of climate resilience actions at the village and regency levels.To support the sustainability of climate change adaptation initiatives in Sabu Raijua, YKAN is currently seeking a Consulting Team for Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building of Climate-Resilient Community Groups in Sabu Raijua. The Consulting Team will facilitate the strengthening of organizational governance, leadership, action planning, partnership networks, and the technical capacity of community groups, enabling them to independently, inclusively, and sustainably manage and further develop community-based adaptation programs. This facilitation will also seek to strengthen the integration of community groups into government programs and policies, particularly the Climate Village Program (Program Kampung Iklim or ProKlim).
