Hankinnan kohteena on FibroScan-maksafibroosimittauslaite. Hankintaan sisältyy laite, ohjelmistot ja lisenssit, aloituspaketin reagenssit tai anturit, käyttöönottokoulutus sekä tekninen tuki. Nyt tehtävä hankinta liittyy Sosiaali-ja terveysministeriöltä saadulla rahoituksella käynnistettyyn C-hepatiitin eliminaatio Satakunnassa -hankkeeseen. Hankinta on sisällytetty STM:n hyväksymään hankesuunnitelmaan. Lisäksi hankintaan sisältyy vuosittainen antureiden kalibrointi. Tilaajan erikseen ilmoittaessa (optio),hankintaan voidaan sisällyttää myös takuuajan jälkeinen huoltosopimus toimittajan tarjouksen mukaisesti.
