The Town of Gawler invites quotes from Respondents for the provision of Finniss Street Multi Storey Car Park - Structural and Stormwater Works. The Finniss Street Multi Storey Car Park is an important public asset supporting access to the Gawler town centre. A condition assessment undertaken by Tonkin Consulting Pty Ltd in 2020 identified structural and stormwater deficiencies, including cracking to precast wall panels, floor slabs, slab edges and areas adjacent to internal columns, corrosion of structural bolts and Bondek metal formwork, and inadequate stormwater management resulting in water ponding and basement flooding. Council has allocated funding in the 2026/27 financial year to address these defects and improve the long-term performance, safety and serviceability of the facility.
