Spitalul clinic de urgență pentru copii ”Sf. Maria ” Iași este un spital regional care asigură asistența medical pacienților pediatrici 0-18 ani din toată regiunea Moldovei. Unitatea este centru multidisciplinar incluzând: UPU, ATI, ATI- neonatologie, pediatrie generală, chirurgie pediatrică, ortopedie pediatrică, urologie pediatrică, cardiologie, gastroenterologie, nefrologie, unica stație de hemodializă pediatrică din Moldova, onco-hematologie, alergologie, imunologie, centru regional de toxicologie, centru regional de genetică, centru regional de mucoviscidoză, centru regional de tratare a bolilor de metabolism și nutriție, neurologie, balneologie, îngrijiri paliative. Spitalul tratează cazuri complexe, fiind de categoria II B, spital universitar, dovadă fiind un ICM crescut în special în această perioadă si anume de 1,30.
