Flippo-Gentry Wetland Management Area (WMA) Wetland Pool Project Solicitation type: Invitation for Bids (IFB) Contracting authority: Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources Work location: Flippo Gentry Wetland Management Area (WMA) Items/services required: - Pre-Implementation Survey - Tree Clearing Approximately up to 2-acres of recently thinned loblolly pine stands with a scattered shrub understory. - Pool Creation (1) Approximately 0.54-acres (23,571 square feet) of excavation and up to 0.99-acres (43,012 square feet) of spoil area. - Pool Creation (2) Approximately 0.56-acres (24,328 square feet) of excavation and up to 1.38-acres (60,079 square feet) of spoil area. - Pool Creation (3) Approximately 0.70-acres (30,553 square feet) of excavation and up to 1.70-acres (73,991 square feet) of spoil area. - Pool Creation (4) Approximately 0.18-acres (7,658 square feet) of excavation and up to 0.40-acres (17,294 square feet) of spoil area. - Ditch Plug Creation Approximately 100-linear feet of ditch plug creation using approximately 0.04-acres (1,819 square feet) of fill/spoil.
