Description
PROJECT BACKGROUND: Whitney Lakes Provincial Park (WhitneyLPP), established in 1982 in the southeastern region of the County of St. Paul No. 19, lies 80 km north of Vermilion and roughly 250 km east of Edmonton. WhitneyLPP is situated within a forested landscape that surrounds four lakes—Whitney, Ross, Laurier, and Borden—and features rich wetland and forest habitats that support a diverse range of plant and animal life.
The roofing envelopes on three assets at the Ross Lake Campground have reached the end of their serviceable life and now require urgent replacement, transitioning from aging cedar
shake–style shingles to durable standing seam metal roofing to ensure continued protection from environmental exposure.
The goal of RFQ 27PAR8046 is to undertake a complete roof replacement on three assets.
Alberta Parks is currently operating the park.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this RFQ is to invite vendors who have the necessary qualifications and experience relative to the scope and nature of this project to provide quotes for a complete roof replacement on three assets.
Based on the responses gathered, and the selection criteria indicated in this RFQ, one contractor will be selected to complete the work. The arrangement with the successful proponent will be established by means of a Contract based on the quotation form (Appendix A, RFQ 27PAR8046– Unit Price Schedule) inserted in this RFQ.
