Formulation Platform

This project focuses on the high-throughput formulation of polymeric materials for various energy applications. This approach aims to facilitate the targeted research of complex mixtures, such as those used in battery electrodes, thereby enabling the prediction of the structure-formulation-performance relationship over the long term. The formulation platform serves as the ideal tool for reproducibly producing a large number of samples and systematically varying different parameters (e.g., composition, processing conditions, etc.) during formulation. Furthermore, the platform also offers the capability to investigate initial properties, such as conductivity. The combination of formulation and subsequent testing is intended to be used in the long term for the next generation of formulations to be developed autonomously using active learning methods, based on the results of the first generation, thus allowing the overall system to automatically optimize compositions.
