Description

The European Space Agency and the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of Croatia hereby invite you to submit a proposal for the above Call for Proposals (CfP), which will be soon published in esa-star. While it is made visible to all ESA Member States, Associate Members and European Cooperating States, this CfP will be addressed only to Croatian legal entities registered in ESA-STAR, as prime tenderer and foresees the following standard activity types:Type A Research and Preparatory Activities, aimed at the preparation for participation in ESA optional programmes or the initial steps of a product development for Space, with potential for use onfuture ESA missions or commercial missions. The start TRL shall be at least 1 and the target TRL shall be TRL 3 or below. Maximum price for ESA: EUR 150,000.Type B Product or Service Development activities, targetting equipment to build competences and capabilities centred on products or generic technology development with potential for re-use on ESA or commercial missions. The start TRL shall be at least 3 and the target TRL shall be TRL 6. Maximum price for ESA: EUR 400,000 (hardware development)/EUR 250,000 (all otheractivities).Type D Space science activities, supporting the involvement of national researchers leading to potential of future involvement in ESA science mission core team and publication of peer reviewed scientific papers. Maximum price for ESA: EUR 100,000.Type F Space Applications, products and services making use of ESA/ European space infrastructure that is already existing or scheduled for operation in the near term. The start TRL shall be at least 5 and the target TRL shall be TRL 8. Maximum price for ESA: EUR200,000. The work carried out by the Tenderer must be co-funded to a minimum level of 25% of the total cost of the activity.Type G1University courses/modules leading to a qualification (BSc or MSc) in space related topics that correspond to the needs of nationalspace industry and to encourage career in space and answer to national space industry needs. Maximum price for ESA: EUR 100,000.To be published as a separate tender in esa-star: Type G2 PhD Theses that correspond to a clear need from the national space industryandwould lead to a new product or service being able to be developed.
