Herunder omfatter dette produktion og levering af ét dagligt hovedmåltid til borgere i eget hjem, der er visiterede til madserviceordningen i Vejle Kommune. Madservice omfatter ydelserne: • Middagsmad med udbringning til hjemmet • Alle former for diætmad med udbringning til hjemmet Madservice er omfattet af reglerne for frit valg. Da borgerne har frit valg mellem leverandører, er omfanget af ydelsen dels afhængigt af, hvor mange borgere der visiteres til madservice, dels borgerens konkrete valg af leverandør. Desuden vil leverede antal portioner varierer fra uge til uge, da borgeren har mulighed for at afbestille måltider. Ordregiver kan således ikke garantere kommende leverandører en given volumen. Leverandøren af madservice betales med det kommunale tilskud, suppleret med borgeres egenbetaling. Tilskud vedtages årligt sammen med øvrige takster i Vejle Kommunes byråd. Pr. 1. juli 2024 er borgerens egenbetaling 61 kr. Borgere der modtager sondeernæring er ikke omfattet af nærværende udbud.
