FWITC Factory Extension Forestry, Land Use, and Value Chains Development (FORLAND) is a collaborative effort between Finland and Tanzania built upon the outcome of FORVAC and PFP to promote sustainable forestry and economic growth in Tanzania. The programme focuses on community-based forest management, plantation forestry, and value chain development. Combining FORVAC and PFP, FORLAND aims to improve upon the outcomes of both initiativesThe Forestry and Wood Industries Training Centre (FWITC) in Mafinga serves as the project’s central innovation hub, training centre, and demonstration facility.
