Description
The New York City Department of Education (DOE) is seeking qualified community-based organizations (Lead CBOs) to work with schools to implement the community school strategy in approximately 100 DOE schools or campuses ranging from elementary, middle, and high schools. Robust school and community partnerships will create supportive school environments and coordinate personalized social, emotional, and academic supports that are responsive to identified needs and build on the strengths of students, families, and communities. While there may be multiple partners working in DOE schools, the Lead CBO coordinates all partners and aligns services with the DOE schools goals.
An RFP Via an Innovative Procurement Method Is the preferred method of procurement because of the need to qualitatively evaluate the proposing organizations and services offered.
