Um er að ræða fjölbreytt verkefni sem snúa að framþróun hugbúnaðarlausna í þjónustu Landspítalans auk viðhalds á hugbúnaðarlausnum spítalans. Aðallega er um sjúkraskrárlausnir að ræða sem styðja við klíníska starfsemi spítalans en jafnframt aðrar hugbúnaðarlausnir, sem tengjast stoðþjónustu spítalans, fjárhags- og mannauðskerfum sem og samskiptalausnum. Hönnunarverkefni Öll innkaup innan gagnvirka innkaupakerfisins fara fram með lokuðum útboðum í gegnum útboðsvef Landspítalans.
