General Planner NFL

The services of a general planner are being tendered for the new construction for research and teaching at the university's location in Sankt Augustin. For this purpose, the existing campus will be expanded with a completely new building on an adjacent plot. The planning of the project up to and including performance phase 4 is to be carried out by the general planner. Overall, a turnkey, ready-for-occupancy, and energetically high-quality, efficient, innovative, and sustainable realization is aimed for. In particular, the contracting authority aims for certification in the Sustainable Building Certification System for Federal Buildings (BNB); the primary goal is the Silver certificate. Therefore, a building is expected that takes into account, in particular, the requirements of the three dimensions "Ecological Quality", "Economic Quality", and "Sociocultural and Functional Quality" as well as the cross-cutting criteria "Technical Quality" and "Process Quality" or is designed comparably, so that the planning is to be aligned with this realization concept. The Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences carries out public tasks on the properties made available to it by the state. This includes the role of the client and responsibility for construction measures. The general planner is therefore subject to increased requirements, as the tasks of the university are transferred to him. This requires not only increased communication with the university departments but also the ability to understand and implement the structures and workflows of university activities in a project-related manner. The goal must be a flexible structure that allows for timely and competent resolution of issues in the planning of the construction project in coordination with the university.
