Der Verein Haus zur Heimat ist Träger des Alters- und Pflegeheims an der Pestalozzistrasse 36 in Olten. Mit seinem Angebot stellt er die Betreuung und Pflege älterer Menschen sicher und leistet damit einen wichtigen Beitrag zur sozialen Infrastruktur der Region. Das bestehende Gebäude ist historisch gewachsen und entspricht in Teilen nicht mehr den heutigen Anforderungen an Funktionalität, Betrieb und Infrastruktur. Um den zukünftigen Herausforderungen gerecht zu werden, hat der Verein beschlossen, die Anlage in mehreren Etappen zu erneuern und gezielt zu erweitern. Ein zentraler Bestandteil der Weiterentwicklung ist der geplante Neubau einer Küche sowie eines Cafeteria-/Restaurantbereichs mit neuem Haupteingang inkl.
