The International Labour Organization (ILO) is seeking applications from qualified non-profit organizations in Jordan to implement a Skills Development and Work-Based Learning (WBL) programme under Phase II of the PROSPECTS Partnership, a multi-agency initiative led by the Government of the Netherlands in collaboration with the ILO, UNHCR, UNICEF, IFC, and the World Bank.The assignment is part of the Employment Intensive Infrastructure Programme (EIIP) in Jordan, focusing on agricultural water infrastructure rehabilitation while creating short-term employment opportunities for vulnerable Jordanians and Syrian refugees.
The selected implementing partner will design and deliver structured technical training and supervised work-based learning linked to EIIP worksites in sectors such as irrigation canals and agricultural water systems.The programme aims to enhance employability, improve technical and transversal skills, strengthen occupational safety and health competencies, and support pathways toward decent and sustainable employment.
Target beneficiaries include unemployed or low-skilled Jordanians and refugees, with a focus on gender inclusion and persons with disabilities.Key responsibilities include occupation identification, development of competency-based training materials, outreach and beneficiary selection, delivery of integrated training and on-the-job learning, certification in coordination with national authorities (AQAC), and ongoing monitoring, reporting, and visibility activities.The assignment will run for 10 months and will be implemented under close supervision of the ILO PROSPECTS team in Jordan
