Description
The Adult Protective Services (APS) program arranges for needs assessments, care management and service delivery to impaired adults who have no one willing and able to help in a responsible manner. Heavy duty cleaning (HDC) services enable HRA/APS to prevent eviction and/or to place home care services into clients residence, enabling impaired adults to remain in a community setting as an alternative to premature or unnecessary costly institutionalization. HDC services includes cleaning, garbage removal, disinfection and extermination to provide an orderly and hygienic environment. Sparklean Janitorial Services Inc has been selected for FY25 new contract because this vendor is our current vendor for emergency heavy duty cleaning services for five boroughs, and a regular cleaning services for the Bronx borough. The vendor is very much familiar with the heavy-duty cleaning services to our clients. They are very cooperative, responsive, and responsible to provide services for our program. Their experienced staff understand the situation of cleaning with our mental and/or physical impaired clients during cleaning services. They are financially sound to manage their operating cost during the contract term. The MWBE contract budget will be $250,000. The contract term will be from 7/1/24 6/30/25.
