Hankinnan kohteena on Helsingin kaupungin tilikausien 2027–2029 sekä optiona tilikausien 2030–2031 hallinnon ja talouden lakisääteisen tilintarkastuksen suorittaminen kuntalain 14 luvun ja Helsingin kaupungin hallintosäännön mukaisesti. Hankinnan kohteeseen sisältyvät myös kaupungin tilintarkastajalta edellytettävät muuhun lainsäädäntöön perustuvat tarkastukset ja lausunnot. Tilintarkastuskertomuksen ja tilintarkastusta koskevan loppuraportin lisäksi tilintarkastajan edellytetään antavan tarkastuslautakunnalle vuosittain vähintään kaksi kirjallista väliraporttia. Tilintarkastukseen on kohdennettava vuosittain vähintään 40 vastuunalaisen tilintarkastajan tarkastuspäivää.
