Snow and ice removal in Dunaújváros

This tender concerns the provision of snow removal and de-icing services within the administrative area of Dunaújváros, Hungary, through a public procurement process. The primary guiding legislation for the execution of these tasks is Decree 5/2004. (I. 28.) GKM on the professional rules for the management of local public roads, specifically section "3. The contract may be extended by up to 30 days beyond March 31st if weather conditions necessitate it. The contractor must possess the required machinery, including at least five operational vehicles (over 3.5 tons) with Euro III or higher emission standards, equipped with snowplows (minimum 250 cm rubber edge) and salt spreaders (minimum 1.5 m3 capacity), and featuring four-wheel drive and GPS tracking. Additionally, one loader with a minimum 1 m3 bucket and a loading height of at least 3 meters is required. Vehicle operators must hold the legally mandated qualifications and licenses. The contractor is obligated to ensure the availability of the ordered number of vehicles throughout the service period, irrespective of potential breakdowns.
