Main contract - NEW STANDS AND TAXIWAY (NST)

The main contract essentially comprises: Breaking up of existing pavement in the various areas to establish a new taxiway and a total of 15 new Code C aircraft stands, including necessary earthworks, cable diversions, pavement works, drainage, electrical preparatory works, excavation for aircraft fuel, electrical works, constructions and installations. Furthermore, necessary connections to existing areas and installations must be made. Options have been tendered, which include the replacement of the pavements with BSM and concrete with Futurecem, and an option for the construction of taxiway H exclusively during night work. Reference is made in this regard to the tender material, including the contract and the Tender and Settlement Basis (TAG). The main contract is located airside in the airport and within the CSRA area, which means that during the execution of construction and civil engineering works, compliance with the applicable safety and operational regulations, etc., will be required. The requirements are described in the tender material, including in the regulations and paradigms attached to the contract. Adjacent taxiways must remain in operation during the execution of the works, and therefore necessary measures must be taken in the planning of the works to ensure this, with the necessary clearance requirements, etc., that apply. Participation in coordination with stakeholders must be expected to ensure that the necessary requirements are met.
