Supervision of construction work according to the scope of services -> Scope of services Coordination + coordination services: • Participation in briefing the contractor on the construction measure (construction kick-off meeting) • Ordering control tests (Note: surveying + geotechnical external supervision of construction execution will be carried out by a separate contractor of the LHW) • Participation in the application for official approvals, e.g., in the course of releasing archaeological documentation of historical monuments + participation therein • Participation in the acceptance of construction services, services + supplies with the involvement of other parties professionally involved in planning + site supervision, preparation of minutes of the acceptance result • Checking the as-built plans for conformity with the actual construction execution (incl. 2 corrections) • Compiling + handing over the documentation of the construction process, as-built documents + maintenance regulations • Listing the limitation periods for defect claims -> Scope of services Supervision of construction work: The person commissioned by the client with the supervision of construction work must perform the following services in accordance with AHO Heft Nr. 2 (2014), which are further specified: • Coordination of parties professionally involved in site supervision, including detailed planning of interfaces (structure and flow diagrams) and construction phases • Participation in and leadership of construction meetings (weekly during construction activity) + dispatch of construction minutes via e-mail within 24 hours to the client and distribution list • Supervision of the execution of the site for conformity with the documents released for execution, the plans, the construction contract + the client's specifications + their release (Note: the generally recognized rules of technology and relevant regulations are part of the construction contract) • Photo documentation of construction execution, (Note: by maintaining a digital construction file with photo documentation; the photos must be saved with the date as the file name "Y-M-D"), handover to the client in digital form after completion of construction • Joint measurement with the executing company + where available its NUN + checking the measurements and quantity surveys (Note: for digital quantity surveys, the surveying construction supervision will create the test basis with the designation of target/actual -> deficits) for invoicing • Determination and documentation of defects + maintenance of a defect list (date of determination, description of defect, deadline for defect rectification) • Ordering, drafting and participating in defect and delay notices upon instruction of the client during construction execution • Supervision of the rectification of defects identified + reported before the VOB acceptance -> Scope of services Supervision of contractual provisions: • Checking interim and final invoices, cost determination, comparison of results with the contract sum, identification of additional and reduced quantities, final sum forecasts, cost control • Checking claims for additional work by the contractor based on a status check, checking the grounds • Checking the amount according to the LHW template (Appendix 4) as well as preparation, leadership + documentation of negotiations and results for additional work • Substantive and computational check of the additional work items a) as before, but for claims according to VOB/B § 2 (3) b) as before, but for claims according to VOB/B § 2 (5) c) as before, but for claims according to VOB/B § 2 (6) d) as before, but for claims according to VOB/B § 2 (7) e) as before, but for claims according to VOB/B § 2 (8) • Preparation of the additional work check note according to the LHW specification / template • Plausibility check of the planned construction schedule submitted by the contractor, complete documentation of the actual construction schedule by regular (at least monthly) updating of the planned construction schedule
