Description

Sole source approval is requested to establish a 1-year Supply Arrangement for the supply of Premo Plastic Sphere Dispensers for the Ministry of Forestry and Parks. A contract is required to maintain the current units in service; maintain the supplies required for these units and replace or supplement the existing inventory for this specialized machine. As a tool in wildfire operations, the function of the Premo MK Ill Plastic Sphere Dispenser is to inject ethylene glycol into plastic spheres containing potassium permanganate and then immediately eject the activated sphere from an aircraft in areas of wildfire activity.
