Description
Scope for this Project to be reviewed in Schedule D (Contract) of the RFP and includes, but is not limited to all demolition, construction, and M&E modification activities required. The scope of project is as follows:
a) The project involves developing a new interim Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) in Red Deer. The scope includes redeveloping approximately 309 m² on the main level of the hospital, specifically within the existing Physicianâs Lounge (room 625) and existing adjacent support rooms (rooms 691, 692, 694, 695, 697, 698, and 699). These areas will be modified to form the new interim Cath Lab as per the future drawings.
b) All work and preparations required to support the installation and commissioning of the new Air Handling Unit (AHU), provided under a separate contract, to serve the newly developed area as outlined in the future design drawings.
c) All required associated site Work and procedures.
d) All associated Work to be completed concurrently where required, only when necessary.
e) All associated testing services to complete the Work including, but not limited to:
i. Air Balancing;
ii. CSA Z32;
iii. Materials Testing; and
iv. Medical Gas Testing.
AHS owns the site, and the hospital will remain in operation during the Project, necessitating the close coordination with AHS staff.
