Public Safety Canada is conducting this Request for Information to inform a potential procurement strategy for Indigenous engagement services related to the firearms classification review. The resulting procurement may be set aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business and may be subject to obligations under one or more Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements / modern treaties, including obligations related to the Nunavut Agreement where work is performed in or into the Nunavut Settlement Area. Respondents are invited to identify relevant Indigenous business eligibility, modern treaty beneficiary status, Inuit Firm Registry status, regional capacity, recommended procurement structure, and approaches to Indigenous data governance, culturally safe engagement and regional delivery..
