Interoperability in Karlovy Vary Hospital, KKN a.s.

The subject of the public contract is the modernization of the contracting authority's hospital information system (NIS) by expanding its functionalities – see the contracting authority's requirements listed in Appendix No. 3 Technical specification of the supply of the public contract. The subject of the public contract is not the supply of a new NIS, but the expansion and integration of the existing system. The scope of performance includes in particular: • Acquisition of new or modification of existing information systems or their parts in order to improve the method of keeping medical records, enabling their interoperable exchange, sharing, secure storage and interpretation. • Implementation of data interfaces enabling standardized and interoperable exchange of medical records between providers through national or regional infrastructure connected to national and European infrastructure (NCPeH). • Implementation of data interfaces to electronic health services, registries or central eGovernment services. • Ensuring online access for authorized persons to medical records through standard electronic interfaces, portals, mobile and web applications. • Implementation of subject identifiers according to the law on the digitalization of healthcare. The scope of performance also includes: • integration of individual systems into the contracting authority's existing IT environment, • configuration of the solution, • implementation of the solution in the contracting authority's environment, • ensuring secure exchange and management of data between individual systems.
