Description

As part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program, the Tuvalu Police Service (TPS) has been gifted a Guardian-class Patrol Boat (GPB), HMTSSTe Maitali III. The vessel is usually berthed within Funafuti Lagoon. TPS seeks the acquisition of two dedicated mooring buoys, in:Funafuti Lagoon, as a secondary berthing location for the GPB when its main berth is occupied; andNanumea, Tuvalu's northernmost island, which is a key forward operating point.The Australian Department of Defence seeks to procure the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of two permanent mooring buoy systems in Tuvalu.
