Gemeente Tiel heeft besloten om uit te treden uit de Bedrijfsvoeringsorganisatie West-Betuwe (BWB) en ervoor gekozen om haar bedrijfsvoering, inclusief ICT en informatievoorziening (IV), weer volledig in eigen beheer en regie te organiseren. De planning is dat de gemeente per 1 januari 2028 volledig van BWB is ontvlochten. In de beoogde doelsituatie wil de gemeente haar ICT en IV zoveel mogelijk als beheerde dienst afnemen. In eerste instantie wordt met de ontvlechting uit BWB de ICT en IV zoveel mogelijk ‘as-is’ overgenomen. Dat betekent dat we uitgaan van het huidige applicatielandschap. Door middel van een Europese aanbestedingsprocedure (niet-openbaar) wil de opdrachtgever realiseren dat de technische IT-diensten, die nu door samenwerkingsverband BWB aan de aanbestedende dienst worden geleverd, vanaf 1 januari 2028 door een toekomstig Opdrachtgever worden geleverd. Aanbestedende dienst heeft het recht om de na de initiële looptijd de Overeenkomst 3 maal te verlengen met een periode van 3 jaar. De totale duur van de Overeenkomst zal niet meer dan 13 jaar bedragen en eindigt aan het einde van de looptijd van rechtswege.
