Execution of works on the regulation of the Ljubina riverbed, section from P8 (0+148.08) to P11 (0+243.78), length 96 m

The subject of the procurement is the execution of works on the regulation of the Ljubina riverbed, section from P8 (0+148.08) to P11 (0+243.78), length 96 m. The Municipality of Vogošća is located mostly on the banks of the Vogošća, Ljubina and Bosna rivers, so the unregulated regime directly affects the safety of the population, property, business premises, roads, as well as the overall development of the city. Due to the insufficient capacity of the riverbeds, overgrowth on the banks, narrowing of the riverbed itself, dumping of waste, construction of protective structures, and occupation of parts of the riverbed, resistance to flow increases, and consequently, when large waters arrive, rivers overflow and flood surrounding areas. The process of riverbed devastation worsens over time and moves downstream, and the section upstream of the confluence of the Ljubina river with the Bosna river is particularly endangered, approximately 600 m upstream along the Ljubina river. During large floods, the Ljubina river often overflows, flooding surrounding houses and roads. In order to protect against floods, in 2014, the Main project for the regulation of the Bosna riverbed at the confluence of the Ljubina river, Vogošća, was prepared by the company Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo, and a building permit was issued for it. In the past period, the project was realized in phases in accordance with the aforementioned project documentation. In 2026, the subject of this Public Procurement plans works on the regulation of the Ljubina riverbed on the section from P8 (0+148.08) to P11 (0+243.78), approximately 96 m long. The works are being carried out on the section from the M-18 Sarajevo - Tuzla main road downstream to the confluence of the Ljubina river, in accordance with the aforementioned project documentation. On the mentioned section, works on the construction of stone-covered slopes on the right and left banks of the Ljubina riverbed are planned. Location: Area of Vogošća Municipality (MZ Semizovac).
